Altar Kneelers
Thirteen years ago this February, a small group of St. John's women dedicated a 5 year project of needle pointing the cushions at the altar. Each and every kneeler is a work of art. In 1996 a booklet describing this endeavor was printed. The Evangelism Committee is offering these booklets to anyone who is interested. Please make your request to Bonnie in the office or to Pat Glessner after the 10:15 service.

How Can I Help?
Please sign up on the kiosk to lector, assist the minister and usher. It really does help the coordinators.

Kiosk in the Chapel
There is a Kiosk in the Chapel. The Kiosk has the sign up sheets for Lectors, Ushers, Assisting Ministers and more for the upcoming months. There is also monthly information on the many events that go on at St. John's. Stop by and see what's happening.

Prayers & Praise

Rev. Robert W. Strobel Scholarship Fund
The Rev. Robert W. Strobel Scholarship Fund has been established in the Student Aid and Endowment Fund at Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, OH. Trinity is Pastor Emeritus Strobel's alma mater and it was his desire that the gifts given in his honor be used to create this fund to aid seminary students. We have achieved the original $10,000 goal for this fund as of Dec. 2007. We continue to accept donations from members and we have been adding to the Fund with grants from the Greater St. John's Fund. Annual scholarships will be awarded to deserving seminarians. If you wish to contribute to the fund you may make a donation to the Church with the designation "R.W. Strobel Scholarship Fund."
